This small seaside fishing village made famous by Brigitte Bardot has been transformed over the years into a chic seaside resort for affluent Cariocas and tourists. Buzios offers numerous beaches and coves to discover by foot, by buggy or by boat.
We have selected quaint pousadas in the town centre, a short walk from restaurants, boutiques, nightclubs and small beach coves and a couple on the lively Geriba Beach, the largest and most happening beach in Buzios, which is only a 15 minute car ride from the town centre.
Pousada Casa Buzios: this cosy yet elegant guest house has 5 tastefully decorated suites and a multitude of patios and gardens, a beautiful swimming pool and lounge overlooking the bay. The house is located on the ‘Orla Bridget Bardot ‘just a 2 minute walk from the Buzios town centre. The guesthouse is run by Fred, fluent in English and French, who is more than pleased to prepare caipirinhas and help out with his tips on Buzios.
Pousada Abracadabra: located on the hilltops of the town centre is the smaller sister hotel of Casa Brancas. It has a small pool on a terrace with a breath-taking view of the bay of Buzios.
Pousada Casas Brancas: is a boutique Hotel and Spa with lovely Mediterranean architecture. It is situated on the Bardot Orla just a few steps away from the pedestrian centre of the town. The atmosphere is very refined and elegant with pool, spa and restaurants. Very helpful staff.
